Head Golf Professional
Location: THE COUNTRY CLUB OF THE SOUTH JOHNS CREEK GEORGIA
The Country Club of the Southis seeking a dedicated and experienced Golf Professional to oversee and enhance the overall golf experience for our members and guests. The Head Golf Professional will play a pivotal role in managing daily golf operations coordinating events and ensuring exceptional service at every touchpoint.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Pro Shop including merchandise sales tee time reservations and member services.
- Maintain inventory levels coordinate merchandise displays and ensure a welcoming environment for members and guests.
- Manage the tee sheet and coordinate tee times to optimize course utilization.
- Monitor the pace of play and implement strategies to ensure an efficient and enjoyable golf experience.
- Plan and execute golf events tournaments and outings coordinating with the Director of Instruction and F&B team as needed.
- Communicate with participants handle registrations and ensure smooth event logistics.
- Provide excellent customer service to members and guests addressing inquiries resolving issues and ensuring a positive experience.
- Foster a customer-centric culture among staff and maintain high service standards.
- Supervise and train Pro Shop staff starters and rangers.
- Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and events.
- Collaborate with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure seamless coordination between golf operations and course maintenance.
- Monitor and enforce golf course policies and rules.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring ensuring financial targets are met.
- Track revenue and expenses related to golf operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business Hospitality or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in golf operations management or a related role.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of golf industry trends rules and etiquette.
