POSITION TITLE: RMSBoysSoccer Coach (Grades 7-8)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Springfield School District seeks individuals committed to the schools mission and vision.
• Individuals are hired based on their relevant experience and demonstration of responsibility and flexibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Relentless commitment to raising the academic achievement of all student-athletes.

• Organize and attend all practices and contests.

• Ability to motivate students.
• Ability to individualize instructions.
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of rules and strategies
• Experience as a coach preferred.
• Experience as a player preferred.
• Enthusiasm for the sport
• Coaching certifications preferred (VPA / NFHS)
• Ability to work effectively with students staff parents administrators and the public.
• Maintain a high level of ethical behavior.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including afternoons/evenings/weekends.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the athletic director that is sport or coaching-related.
