Fall Head Cheering Coach
Mt. BlueHighSchool
JobGoal(s):To build a safe and competitive program that unifies the student athlete coach will promote academic excellence develop physical and stunting skills foster school spirit during athletic events and teach valuable life lessons like discipline and sportsmanship.

Qualifications

Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.

Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to mentor student-athletes and collaborate effectively with school administration parents and community members.

The coach must serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes throughhis/her instructions and actions.

Certifications

Valid CHRC

Performance Responsibilities
Organize team tryouts select squad members and set the seasonal calendar for practices games assemblies and competitions.
Teach and perfect cheers chants sideline routines and competitive routines that engage crowds and highlight the teams abilities.

Education

The coach must be at least 20 years of age or a high school graduate.

Experience

Previous coaching or competitive cheerleading experience at the high school collegiate or All-Star level. Knowledge of NFHS and MPA Rules. Demonstrate ability to instruct and supervise student athletes.

Working Schedule
Flexible after school hours required for scheduledgames both home and away.
Travel Requirements
Travelto home and away games.

Reports To:Director of Athletics

Terms of Employment: As determined annually by the District.

Evaluation:Completed annually byDirector of Athletics

FLSA Status:Exempt/Non-exempt
