Head Boys Basketball Coach

We are seeking a passionate dedicated and energetic High School Boys Basketball Coach to lead our student-athletes to success. The ideal candidate will inspire players to reach their full potential while upholding the values of sportsmanship discipline and academic achievement.

Responsibilities:

• Plan organize and conduct effective practice sessions and game strategies.

• Teach fundamental and advanced skills while emphasizing teamwork and respect.

• Oversee athlete conditioning safety and performance development.

• Maintain communication with parents athletic directors and school staff.

• Support the academic progress and personal growth of all team members.

• Ensure compliance with LHSAA regulations and school policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous coaching or playing experience in basketball (high school or higher level preferred).

• Knowledge of rules strategies and conditioning techniques.

• Strong leadership communication and motivational skills.

• Preferred: Teaching certification or a commitment to obtain certification.

• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
