Job Summary
Chapel Hill 7th and 8th Grade Center is seeking qualified motivated and student-centered individuals to serve in coaching positions for middle school athletic programs. Coaches are responsible for supporting the academic athletic and personal development of student-athletes while promoting sportsmanship teamwork discipline and school pride.
Essential Responsibilities
- Organize and supervise practices competitions and team activities.
- Teach fundamental skills rules and strategies appropriate for middle school student-athletes.
- Foster a positive inclusive and educational athletic environment.
- Promote good sportsmanship character teamwork and respect among athletes.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants at practices and events.
- Communicate effectively with athletes parents school staff officials and administration.
- Maintain appropriate supervision of students during practices games travel and other team activities.
- Support and enforce school district conference and state athletic policies and expectations.
- Monitor student-athlete academic progress and encourage academic success.
- Assist with equipment management inventory and care of school facilities.
- Attend required meetings trainings and professional development opportunities.
