Job Summary
This position willsupportpeopleacrossthelifespanby deliveringand evaluatingeducationalprograms and resourcesrelatedtoaging family caregiving andend-of-life programming.It will foster community readiness and capacity to supportolder adults and family caregiversby building and strengthening coalitions and leading networks of professionalsto engage inpolicy systems and environment efforts tocreateageand caregiver-friendly environments.This position will alsobe engaged withresearch-based community education programs and resources that strengthen parent knowledge and skills and provide training to family-serving professionals including the early care and education workforce.
Thesuccessful candidate will be tasked withmaintainingcollaborative relationshipsthat have been builtwith localagencies that serve older adults and family caregivers.

The main office for this position is located in Sheboygan WI and the primary programming focus is Sheboygan County; however some programming may also be conducted over a broader geographical area.
It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person onsite at a designated campus work location.
This position may be required to work occasional nights and weekends to meet the program needs and priorities of the communities served.

Applicants are required to: Have a valid drivers license and a reliable source of independent transportation for periodic in-state work travel and/or comply with requirements for UW-Madison vehicle use authorization.
- Researches develops and facilitates outreach program content and materials
- Delivers outreach program content and materials to community members
- Schedules and secures resources and communicates logistics in support of an outreach program
- Identifies promotes and maintains external partnerships to support the outreach program
- Leads the implementation of programs policies and procedures through oversight of day-to-day activities for program staff and student and community volunteers
- May assist with the monitoring of outreach program budget spending
- Communicate plans activities and achievements to Area Extension Director Program Managers partners and relevant stakeholders
- Develops and evaluates curriculum and programs and provides recommendations for improvement

The minimum annual (12 months) startingsalaryfor the position is $59603 but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

At least two years of experience relevant to the educational programming and service delivery of the position
Demonstrated experience developing effective partnerships or coalitions with community partners and local governments
Strong interpersonal skills anddemonstratedability to build andmaintainprofessional work environments
Experience managing multiple tasks timelines and schedules whilemaintaininghigh-quality work
Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of methods and technology
Demonstratedability to effectively work with people from a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives
At least five years of workor livedexperience relevant to the programmatic responsibilities of the position
Demonstrated success in developing delivering and evaluating educational programs for different audiencesutilizinga variety of educational techniques methods andmodes
Demonstrated skill in interpretingutilizing and applying evidence-based information and research findings to the benefit of program participants and thecommunity.
A bachelors degree related to the positions area of focus
Continued Education or certifications related to the positions area of focus which may include agraduate degree.
