Job Summary
SummaryBalfour Beatty is seeking an HCM Reporting and Data Analyst to join our team. This individual will assist in the design implementation and management of HCM data analytics and reporting programs. Additionally the analyst will provide reports data and analysis using a variety of reporting tools to improve efficiency to support decisions to enable leadership effectiveness and to enhance stakeholder experience. The selected candidate will also assist with defining strategic vision and system advancement individual will preferably be based out of our Dallas TX office. Applicants outside of the DFW area who live near a different Balfour Beatty office may be considered as FunctionsAssist in development and execution of the HCM data analytics strategy to align with organizational and maintain HCM reports and dashboards utilizing appropriate system tools (Excel Power BI etc.) to effectively present HR in-depth analysis of HR data to identify patterns trends and correlations. Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for HR and organizational reports and various data sets to support HR programs including but not limited to AAP Vets compensation benefits retirement and create ad hoc reports as needed to respond to data consistency accuracy and quality of all dashboards and with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and develop communicate conceptual design of dashboards to technical team. Actively participate in testing of to all requests for information within four (4) business days of receipt. If a request cannot be completed within four (4) business days work with the customer to determine a mutually acceptable date for support consultation and research to stakeholders. Manage the customer support email all documentation for work processes maintaining necessary participate in group status meetings and/or conference calls and respond to identified participate in task team meetings to fully understand end-user participate in vendor conferences webcasts and user group Reporting & Data Analytics Consolidated Duty Buckets (5%)Data Analytics Strategy & Insight Development 20%Assists in developing and executing the HCM data analytics strategy to support organizational objectives. Conducts indepth analysis of HR data to identify patterns trends and correlations translating complex findings into actionable insights and recommendations for HR and organizational & Dashboard Development 25%Creates and maintains HCM reports and dashboards using tools such as Excel and Power BI. Ensures consistency accuracy and quality across all reporting outputs. Communicates conceptual dashboard designs to technical teams and actively participates in testing Reporting & Ad Hoc Data Support 20%Provides recurring and ad hoc reports to support HR programs including AAP Vets compensation benefits and retirement. Designs custom reporting solutions and responds to data requests in alignment with servicelevel Support Consultation & Collaboration 15%Collaborates with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and develop effective solutions. Provides consultation research and customer support including managing the customer support inbox. Ensures timely responses to information requests and works with customers to establish mutually acceptable timelines when Meetings & Professional Engagement 10%Writes and maintains documentation for reporting processes and workflows. Participates in group status meetings conference calls and task team meetings to understand enduser needs and address issues. This is a hybrid role (three days in the office two days from home).Education Experience and KnowledgeAssociates degree in Human Resources Information Systems Data Science Business or related field or equivalent work experienceMinimum of three (3) years of experience in HR data analytics and reportingSolid understanding of human resources processes metrics and best practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to draw meaningful insights from complex data setsAdvanced Excel skillsProficiency in data analysis tools and report writing software; Dayforce experience a plusExperience with data visualization tools such as Power BI (highly desirable)Able to coordinate and communicate information effectively to project stakeholders and managementAbility to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environmentOrganizational skills to work with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis and to cope with rapidly changing informationAct in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company its values and the employees while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding stakeholder requirements and expectationsAbility to travel intermittently up to 10% of schedule
