Haul Truck Driver

Pay:$18.00 per hour

Job Type / Schedule: Temp-to-Hire MondayFriday 2:00 PM10:00 PM Some overtime required depending on workload

Pronto Staffing is hiring a dependable haul truck driver for an active industrial site.

Job Summary

Pronto Staffing is seeking an experienced worker to safely drive off-road haul this role you will move rock aggregate and raw materials around a local quarry. This is a great position for someone with strong heavy equipment skills who values site safety and reliable hours.

Responsibilities

• Drive large off-road haul trucks safely to transport materials around the site

• Inspect your truck before and after every shift to make sure it runs well

• Perform basic maintenance on equipment and report any issues right away

• Follow all safety rules and site speed limits to keep yourself and others safe

• Talk clearly with loaders dispatch and supervisors using site radios

• Look out for hazards in your work area and help clean up the site

Requirements

• Experience driving off-road haul trucks or other heavy equipment

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

• Ability to read and follow simple verbal and written instructions in English

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• MSHA certification is preferred but not required

• Excellent attendance and punctuality

• Background check and drug screening may be required

Work Environment

• Working outdoors in a busy quarry environment

• Exposure to dust loud noise moving machinery and uneven ground

• Frequent climbing bending walking and sitting or standing for an 8-hour shift

• Lifting up to 50 pounds at times

• Must wear steel-toe boots
