APPLE INC has the following available in Austin Texas. Prototype bringup debugging functional verification and electrical characterization. Manage engineering builds by partnering with and driving communications among crossfunctional teams to solve new product development challenges. Define recommend and implement component level reworks in partnership with internal engineering teams. Develop and implement automated PCBA and system level processes to increase yields and throughput. Support system and board level debug reworking assembly and reworks on prototype hardware. Track report and identify quality issues and/or failure trends. Work closely with technicians and engineers to ensure the prompt and accurate completion of work. 40 hours/week.

Bachelors Degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.n4 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:nDefining recommending and implementing component level reworks within major PCBs in consumer electronics products in partnership with internal engineering teams for product development supporting mass production using electrical engineering layout strategies for PCB Rigid PCB Flex and Rigid-Flex including material selection stack-up planningnUtilizing subject matter expert knowledge of SMT process including BGA and fine pitch soldering rework and implementing automated PCBA and system level processes to increase rework u0026 build yields and for EMI minimization signal integrity noise suppressionnDesigning for manufacturing/DFM and designing for reliability experiencenUtilizing supporting system level troubleshooting u0026 debugging from chip level to system experience with tracking issues reporting trends and identifying quality issues and developing corrective actions.
