Hardware Store Counter Sales Associate

We are seeking a friendly dependable and customer-focused Hardware Store Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Miami. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish enjoys helping customers and has experience in hardware construction supplies plumbing electrical paint or building materials.

As the first point of contact you will assist customers in selecting products process sales provide product recommendations and ensure an outstanding customer experience.

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist customers in locating hardware tools plumbing electrical paint and building supply products.
• Recommend products based on customer needs and project requirements.
• Process sales accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain organized shelves displays and inventory.
• Receive stock and replenish merchandise.
• Answer phone inquiries and provide product information.
• Assist with inventory counts and receiving shipments.
• Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (required).
• Previous experience in a hardware store construction supply home improvement or retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of hardware plumbing electrical paint tools fasteners or building materials is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer and POS system experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Knowledge of construction materials and supplies.
• Experience with inventory management.
• Cash handling experience.
• Forklift experience is a plus (not required).
