Collaborate with industrial designers product integrity hardware software and technology groups to refine u0026 execute on the design of the initial product layouts. Generate concepts prototype demonstrate u0026 test to drive down-selection. nPartner with external vendors u0026 internal manufacturing teams to optimize designs for function cosmetics and design meets requirements throughout its lifecycle by performing stress tolerance and failure up to 20% in Asia to support factory you will strengthen on the job: tolerance analysis geometric dimensioning u0026 tolerancing design for assembly/manufacturability designing for high volume manufacturing of injection molded die cast sheetmetal and machined parts metrology simple fixture design computer aided design statistical process control failure analysis.

BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentnEngineering fundamentals: solid mechanics material science heat transfer mechanism design manufacturingnExcellent communication skills: both written and verbal ability to clearly communicate design ideas and contribute to brainstormsn3 years experience in a mechanical engineering rolenGenuine curiosity nCollaborative u0026 receptive to feedback
