- Support assigned project work throughout the internship including planning testing and reporting activities.
- Participate in team meetings technical reviews and project discussions.
- Present project findings and accomplishments to Lennox leadership at the conclusion of the internship.
- Support the design development and testing of residential HVAC control systems.
- Assist with prototype evaluation product verification and troubleshooting efforts.
- Contribute to engineering activities that improve product performance and reliability.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering Power Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Completion of electrical design coursework.
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits and circuit analysis.
- Familiarity with electrical laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience supporting real hardware engineering and product development projects.

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Entry Level.
Developing professional knowledge in the area of expertise. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $22.50 $25/hour. This rate is based on the interns current year in their respective university programs. Graduate students may receive a higher rate of pay based on their year in school. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
