Hardware Engineering Program Manager (HW EPM)

This involves engaging with cross functional teams to balance competing objectives make a difference and embrace effective ways to deliver on the committed timelines.

Manage the planning and execution of product prototype builds leading a cross-functional team of electrical software and mechanical engineers. nnSet and communicate clear objectives for the build schedule serving as the primary point of contact for the program with Contract Manufacturer (CM) multi-functional engineering team meetings to discuss design scope set timelines and ensure timely completion. Youll understand the complexities of system integration and collaborate with teams to facilitate feedback through the internal design review good communication and provide multiple levels of status to individual contributors and executive management.n

Support product definition and drive closure of architecture and technical opens in early stages of a and manage program feature baseline scheduling budget critical paths and technology risk areas for execution through final delivery of the and highlight technical risk areas and mitigation strategies in partnership with impacted teams to help drive them to the development effort by creating and monitoring an efficient streamlined MLB/Flex/SiP releases and fabrication kickoff with Hardware Engineering and the vendors to meet build and execute prototype builds by directing OEM cross functional communication between project teams and external vendors with detailed day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives including scheduling and leading meetings among engineering multiple levels of status across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management via detailed written and excellent verbal communication.n

BS ME/EE degree or equivalent least 5 years of experience leading program management or electrical engineering design of product development.n
