JOB TITLE: Handyman / Building Maintenance Technician

LOCATION: Multiple

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor

HOURS: Full Time

CALENDAR: 245 Days

SALARY: $16.38-$21.09 /hr beginning depending on experience.

We are looking for a skilled reliable and highly versatile Handyman / Building Maintenance Technician to handle a wide range of repairs installations and upkeep for our properties. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience across multiple trades including light plumbing electrical work flooring installation and carpentry.

• General Maintenance: Perform routine facility inspections troubleshoot mechanical issues and manage everyday building upkeep.
• HVAC Upkeep: Perform routine preventative maintenance including regularly checking and changing HVAC air filters.
• Flooring & Painting: Install repair and patch various flooring types including carpet and tile repair or LVP/laminate replacement. Perform drywall patching priming and professional interior/exterior painting.
• Plumbing: Diagnose leaks repair/replace faucets clear drains and install standard bathroom/kitchen fixtures.
• Electrical: Repair or replace light switches outlets ballast transformers ceiling fans and indoor/outdoor lighting fixtures.
• Carpentry & Doors: Hang doors repair trim/baseboards repair drywall and install or replace heavy-duty commercial/residential door locks and hardware.
• Problem Solving: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and safely resolve structural or functional building issues.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in property maintenance construction or a multi-trade handyman role.
• Technical Skills: Proven competency in plumbing electrical diagnostics framing flooring painting and lockset installation.
• Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs climb ladders crawl into tight spaces and stand for extended periods.
• Traits: Strong attention to detail punctuality and excellent communication skills.
• Requirements: Valid drivers license and reliable transportation. (Background check may be required).
