• Read and interpret shop drawings blueprints and templates for handrail systems.
• Measure mark cut bend shape and form steel stainless steel and aluminum components using saws brakes rollers and press brakes.
• Fit tack and fully weld handrail sections posts balusters and brackets using MIG/TIG/arc welding as required.
• Grind sand and finish welds and surfaces to prepare for priming painting or plating.
• Assemble handrail systems for shop testing and final fit-up; prepare components for shipping or installation.
• Maintain accurate material takeoffs parts lists and basic fabrication records.
• Inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy and quality; correct defects.
• Maintain a clean safe work area and follow company safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with estimators project managers and installers to meet schedules and client specifications.
• Operate forklifts or lifting equipment as needed (certification preferred).

• Shop environment with exposure to noise dust and welding fumes; PPE required.
• Occasional travel to job sites for fitting/installation may be required.
• Overtime possible to meet project deadlines.
