Hand Finisher Sign on Bonus

***1st shift schedule Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30pm***

*** Effective June 1 2026 Sign-On Bonus: $2000. Paid out: 1st half 30 days and 2nd half in 60 days once on Moderns payroll.***

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Hand finish a wide variety of metal parts and castings for the aerospace and semiconductor industries

• Use hand and power tools to grind sand clean break edges and deburr parts in preparation for further finishing

Knowledge & Abilities:

• Ability to use basic deburring and hand-finishing tools including right angle grinders die grinders orbital sanders and air pens (manual and power)

• Knowledge and proper use of calipers torque wrenches helicoil keensert and Lee plug installation tools

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 03 years of hand finishing experience preferred

• Ability to read and comprehend English preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Steady hand-eye coordination

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to twist/turn upper body as required

• Close vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus required

• Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
