Warehouse SupervisorHiring all departments for 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm Monday through Friday)Position OverviewA Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising one or more of the following areas; receiving inventory storing packing order management and shipping of merchandise. Manages the placement of staffing and provides training to ensure the safety of staff including the handling of equipment and adherence to OSHA Job Functions Lead motivate train and support the activities of the warehouseEnsure that shipping receiving storage order management and/or distribution activities are performed in an efficient mannerReview and use the system tools to monitor the productivity of all associatesEnsure that all necessary precautions are taken to protect warehouse contents against loss and damageRequires maintenance of records and schedulesReviews document actions by ensuring forms reports logs and records are completed and accurateMaintains databasesRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsManage and control the area to ensure a safe and clean environmentKeep abreast of health and safety strategiesLeads and directs the work of othersOther duties as assignedRequirementsEducation: Associates Level DegreeExperience: 4 years experience in managing a distribution center and service operationSpecialized Knowledge Licenses etc.: Experience with WMS a plus. Computer proficiency (MS Office). Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Conditions: Distribution Center. Ability to stand walk sit reach kneel and stoop. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 Skills/Abilities: Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts practices and procedures. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
