Employment Type:Long-Term Assignment / Part-Time

Pay Rate:$178.50/Day

About the Role

Dedicated School Staffing is seeking reliable flexible and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers to support schools when full-time teachers are absent. This role ensures continuity of learning by following established lesson plans maintaining a positive classroom environment and supporting students academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular classroom teacher
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe respectful learning environment
• Provide clear instruction and support to students throughout the school day
• Adapt to various grade levels and subject areas as needed
• Take attendance and complete any required documentation
• Communicate effectively with school staff and administrators
• Supervise students during transitions lunch recess or other assigned duties

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Bachelors degree in any field
• Must hold licensed teacher certificate
• Valid substitute teaching license or higher teaching license (as required by state regulations)
• Clean criminal background checks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different classroom settings
• Patience professionalism and a student-centered mindset
• Adherence to theLicensure Code of Professional Conductfor Ohio Educators

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior teaching or childcare experience
• Familiarity with classroom management strategies
• Experience working with diverse student populations
