Job Summary:
Guest Services Representatives are an integral part of the Recreation Division with the City of Greeley and are responsible for providing quality customer service to patrons of the Greeley Recreation facilities. This position assists with daily facility operations. These positions must also process class and activity registrations sell facility memberships schedule facility rentals and work concessions.
Experience Knowledge Skills:
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current certification in CPR First Aid and AED or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire required.
Valid Driver License for 2 years and a clean driving record
OR
Any combination of related education experience certifications and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job
AND
Possession of a valid drivers license.
Preferred:
Experience and knowledge of computer operations and use of software packages including Microsoft Office applications desired.
Spanish/English bilingual skills desired.
At least one year of golf course experience.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of all products offered in the pro shop.
Knowledge of the business operations and organizational structure of Colorado municipalities.
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and departments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and systems.
Strong interpersonal skills to promote effective interaction communication and teamwork.
Excellent oral written and listening communication skills with the ability to clearly interpret and convey information and ideas.
Effective organizational skills including goal setting time management meeting coordination and decision-making.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure adapt to change and maintain effectiveness in dynamic environments.
Demonstrates a strong work ethic a positive solution-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for the work.
Ability to work independently using sound judgment as well as collaboratively within a team to achieve shared goals.

Travel:
Category A-Standard Local Travel:This positionrequires occasional local travel within the County. Employees may be expected to walk or drive short distances to attend meetings trainings or perform work at other city buildings or partner sites.
Essential Functions:
Maintains superior levels of customer service for golf course patrons.
Delivers prompt and professional solutions to external and internal customer inquiries via in-person phone and email interactions regarding facility services programs and activities as well as those offered by the Culture Parks and Recreation Department.
Promotes merchandise and driving range sales while on duty.
Maintains professional grooming and uniform standards.
Ensures the pro shop is fully stocked at appropriate levels.
Assists with facility maintenance and cleanliness.
Ensures golfers are started on the 1st and 10th tees in a timely manner.
Ensures outside services staff effectively marshal the golf course.
Monitors turn times to help identify slow play issues and support outside services staff.
Follows all cash management policies.
Maintains open communication with the professional staff.
Provides assistance to outside services staff as needed.
Stages and cleans motorized golf carts.
Operates a golf cart to collect balls from the driving range.
Participates in regular team meetings to ensure consistency across recreation facilities.
Learns and uses GolfTrac software for pro shop operations including membership and inventory sales tee time bookings and point-of-sale transactions.
Assists in keeping marketing materials the website and social media sites updated with accurate information.
Follows and assists in enforcing risk management and emergency response procedures.

Frequent and heavy contact with the public and City employees in person and by telephone.
Frequent interruptions.
Flexibility to work early mornings weekdays nights weekends evenings and holidays.
Work is performed in an open office environment with heavy noise levels at times.
Physical Requirements:
Vision to perform physical activities read computer keyboards reference books and other written documents.
Strength and stamina enough to walk stand stretch bend lift or carry up to 45 lbs.
Manual dexterity enough to complete daily work such as operate computer keyboards drive and operate motor vehicles and operate other office equipment and complete paperwork.
