QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development OR a Bachelors Degree in a related field with a valid Michigan teaching certificate and an Early Childhood (ZA or ZS) endorsement.
• Experience working in early childhood education settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early learning.
• Excellent communication collaboration and organizational skills.

REPORTS TO:Jenna ODriscoll Principal

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan implement and assess developmentally appropriate lessons based on the GSRP curriculum.
• Create a safe inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes the physical social emotional and cognitive growth of each child.
• Conduct ongoing child assessments and maintain accurate records in accordance with GSRP requirements.
• Collaborate with the Associate Teacher GSRP Program Director and other staff to ensure program compliance and quality.
• Establish strong positive relationships with families maintaining open communication and involving them in their childs learning experience.
• Participate in professional development team meetings and program evaluations as required.
