Group Leader

• Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT
• Conduct semi-annual performance reviews interview applicants keep training records up to date for assigned employees evaluate succession plans in preparation for growth
• Perform work for both routine and non-routine work as specified by separate and applicable technical job description for individual
• Coach train and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements
• Troubleshoot and solve both instrumental and method issues
• Lead and write investigations independently establish root cause and robust CAPA
• Support and drive LEAN initiatives and operational improvements
• Perform all functions in support of and in compliance with all state and federal employment regulations

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in chemistry biology biochemistry or related degree concentration and at least 4 years of laboratory experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information :

Position is full-time Monday through Thursday 2pm - 12am. 4x10 schedule with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Portage MI are encouraged to apply.
