Job Summary

Group Fitness Instruction
Plan and lead safe effective and engaging group fitness classes.
Provide exercise modifications and progressions to accommodate varying fitness levels and abilities.
Participant Engagement
Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages participation and community.
Serve as a positive representative ofFitWelland Loyola Marymount University.
Program Support
Assistwithspecial events wellness initiatives and promotional activities.
Collaborate with professional staff to support program growth and participant engagement.
Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain current Group Fitness and CPR/AED certifications.
Attend required meetingstrainings and professional development opportunities.

Requisite Qualifications
Current nationally recognized Group Fitness certification (ACE AFAA NASM ACSM Yoga Alliance or equivalent) or ability to obtain certification within90 daysof hire.
Current CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain prior to employment.
Strong communicationand interpersonal skills.
Commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment.
Strong group exercise instruction and coaching skills.
Ability to motivate and engage diverse participant populations.
Excellent verbal communication and public speaking abilities.
Ability to create inclusive and welcoming fitness environments.

Salary range
