Groundskeeper Union on Thompson

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance cleanliness and curb appeal of the apartment community. This role ensures that all outdoor areas common spaces and amenities are well-kept safe and welcoming for residents guests and prospective residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of all common areas including sidewalks parking lots breezeways stairwells and amenity spaces
• Perform daily property walks to remove trash debris and litter from grounds and landscaped areas
• Oversee landscaping vendors and provide assistance as needed
• Assist with seasonal landscaping tasks such as leaf removal mulching and snow/ice removal if requested
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure dumpster areas are clean and orderly
• Report any maintenance issues safety hazards or property damage to the maintenance team and Community Manager
• Assist the maintenance team with minor tasks and unit turns as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times
• All other tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic knowledge and ability to operate landscaping equipment and maintenance tools
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to frequently walk stand bend and lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and time management skills
• Must be able to provide proof of valid drivers license vehicle insurance and reliable transportatio
