Job Summary
This position will be filled by a highly motivated Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Custodian with a passion for developmental flight test of new and revolutionary products. You will work heavily with the program leadership and a wide spectrum of cross-departments to help build a team focused on solving hard problems and changing the industry forever. The role will be responsible for GSE management DCMA 8210 procedural compliance and Asset logistics for the Group 5 program contributing valued organizational and management skills
WHAT YOULL DO
- Support equipment periodic inspection and maintenance routines in compliance manufacturers maintenance manuals
- Troubleshoot and repair usability issues or damaged equipment
- Ensure proper documentation of usage maintenance and repairs.
- Order and manage spare parts for equipment.
- Organize training sessions for personnel on proper equipment use and safety practices.
- Coordinate recalibration of test equipment calibration items.
- Regularly update the asset management system with status or location changes.
- Hazmat management including fluid sampling and analysis.
- Perform or coordinate modification and fabrication of support equipment (includes welding).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years aircraft support equipment maintenance experience.
- Tool control experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient with computer use (standard browser word processing applications).
- Willing to be multi-capable including basic electronics troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a fast paced challenging work environment.
- In this role you will be subject to pre-employment and randomized substance screening as required by the Company.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- ASE Certification L2 and A9
- DCMA 8210-1 experience
- Welding certification
- Secret clearance or higher
US Hourly Range
$41 - $54 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and/or training critical skills and/or business considerations.
