Job Summary:
As aGround Hand you will support construction crews by performing manual labor tasks and assisting Linemen with the preparation movement and installation of materials and equipment. You will help maintain safe and efficient job site operations while learning foundational skills for career progression in line this role your customers are Congruex field construction teams and you will contribute to project success through teamwork safety and operational support.

Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
Assist Linemen with loading unloading organizing and preparing tools materials and equipment at job sites
Perform manual labor tasks such as digging tamping cutting brush cleaning trucks and moving materials as directed
Support traffic control and maintain safe work zone operations
Operate or assist with company vehicles and equipment when required
Maintain awareness of unsafe conditions and take appropriate corrective actions
Support physically demanding construction activities in outdoor environments
Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs

Required Qualifications:

Education Licensing and Certifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license required; Class A preferred
OSHA 10 certification required

Experience
Entry-level construction or utility field experience preferred
Experience in outdoor labor-intensive environments is a plus

Skills and Abilities
Ability to take direction and follow instructions from supervisors
Strong teamwork and communication skills using verbal radio and hand signals
Ability to identify unsafe conditions and follow safety procedures
Self-motivated with strong attendance and punctuality
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy materials

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous utility telecom or construction field experience
CDL Class A license

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 4090 lbs.
Ability to stand walk stoop kneel crouch crawl and climb ladders for extended periods
Work performed outdoors in all weather conditions and confined spaces
Ability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends holidays and on-call as needed
Must be able to safely work around heavy equipment and wear all required PPE
