Who You Are

The Assistant Manager works closely with the leadership team to set and communicate standards and practices that ensure a high-performing fulfilled team. You inspire collaboration accountability and excellence while educating and supporting the service team to deliver the best dining experience for guests and a positive work environment for employees.

What Youll Do

• Cultivate a culture of authentic hospitality that supports business objectives and team growth.
• Maintain dining room excellence cleanliness and adequate inventory ensuring staff are familiar with standards and service procedures.
• Foster positive working relationships with kitchen leaders and line staff ensuring effective communication during service.
• Provide hands-on support to service staff and actively participate in service as needed.
• Collaborate with beverage management to conduct reconcile and submit month-end beverage inventory.
• Ensure compliance with HR practices policies and payroll processes; evaluate and enforce disciplinary procedures as needed.
• Maintain DOL and Health Department compliance for operational standards.
• Hire train and develop service staff in line with restaurant standards for hospitality and excellence; manage scheduling and provide ongoing coaching.

What We Need From You

• 2 years dining room experience in hospitality & casual dining; management experience preferred.
• Strong food and beverage knowledge.
• Passion for education and team development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook).
• Preferred: Bachelors Degree or certification in hospitality-related field or equivalent experience.
• English fluency; Spanish preferred.
