Job Summary
Raintree Golf and Event Center located in Uniontown OH is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Grill Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
- Prepare and execute all grilled menu items including proteins sandwiches and accompaniments according to recipes and plating standards
- Maintain proper cooking temperatures portion control and food presentation at all times
- Set up and break down the grill station before and after service
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service standards and ticket times
- Follow proper food handling sanitation and safety procedures in compliance with local health regulations
- Maintain a clean organized and stocked grill station throughout service
- Communicate effectively with chefs expeditors and fellow line cooks during service
- Assist with prep work inventory rotation and labeling as needed
- Properly store food items following FIFO standards
- Support other kitchen stations as business levels require
- 12 years of cooking experience.
- Minimum education: High School (or equivalent) diploma.
- Experience in managing and upholding safe working conditions.
- Understanding of safety sanitation and food handling procedures.
- Must be dependable.
- Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to take direction.
- Physical activity including long periods (68 hours) of standing walking bending and scooping.
- The employee will be required to regularly reach with arms and hands.
- The employee will occasionally be required to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Use of sight reading and wrist movement to serve meals and beverages operate food service equipment and clean food service areas.
- Specific vision abilities include close distance color and peripheral vision and depth perception.
- Noise level is moderate to loud.
- Works extended hours during golf and holiday seasons.
- Works weekends and holidays.
