Your future team:

The Production Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and has 8 direct reports.

What you will be doing:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for cost effective manufacturing of Grid products consistent with required quality standards safe work practices effective housekeeping and maintaining compliance with personnel policies.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a production team of up to 30 employees to safely achieve production quality and efficiency goals.

• Schedule and coordinate production activities to meet customer demand and delivery timelines.

• Coach train and evaluate team members including scheduling timekeeping performance management corrective action and hiring support.

• Monitor production plans performance and downtime using SAP and other production systems to identify and implement process improvements.

• Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with safety standards conducting accident investigations and maintaining a safe work environment.

• Collaborate with engineering maintenance planning shipping and other departments to optimize production and resolve operational issues.

• Apply Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices to improve productivity and product quality.

• Maintain accurate production records inventory support and an organized work environment.

• Support plant operations including facility opening/closing and other operational needs as required.

What you bring:

• 25 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.

• Experience leading production teams including scheduling performance management and coaching.

• Knowledge of production operations workplace safety and continuous improvement practices.

• Experience with SAP or other ERP/MES systems is an asset.

• Strong communication problem-solving and organizational skills.

The annual salary range for this role is $70000 - $90000. Your base salary is determined based on location experience and the pay of employees in similar positions.
