Youll work alongside an experienced team through every phasefrom grow-in to full operationensuring the land is cared for and the turf performs at the highest level. One day you might be soding fairways. The next youre watering by hand to keep dust down or prepping greens for their morning cut. Located in Floridas panhandle just inland from the gulfs sugar sand beaches Old Shores will be a new community anchored by golf a refuge with world-class courses accommodations and homesites. Located just 30 minutes north of Panama City Beach the land will serve as a peaceful secluded escape. The bluffs and moss-draped oaks of Old Shores form an inviting and natural setting for a walking village that opens to the unspoiled golf sites forests and sandhill lakes for fishing and exploring. This new expression of golf by Michael Keiser Jr will change the way people look at Florida.
Old Shores is a coastal public golf destination offering daily-fee play limited Founderships and a curated real estate offering set against a distinctive natural landscape. The property is purpose-built for golfers and coastal lifestyle enthusiasts who want world-class golf to respect the land and to connect with others in a meaningful way. We are seeking a Marketing Manager to help steward the next chapter of the brand with discipline taste creativity and commercial effectiveness.
- Support turf grow-in and ongoing course maintenance across tees fairways and greens
- Hand-pick sticks and debris to keep playing surfaces clean and playable (because details matter)
- Manage irrigation and hand-water to control dust support turf establishment and maintain playing conditions
- Fertilize seed and nurture turf through grow-in and into peak playing condition
- Mow and maintain turf to course standards as grow-in progresses and play increases
- Work outside in all kinds of weatherbecause nature doesnt take a day off
- Adapt seamlessly between grow-in responsibilities and full maintenance operations as the resort evolves
- Perform daily maintenance tasks on the golf course grounds maintenance facility and clubhouse as assigned
- Handle equipment safely whether in an active grow-in environment or routine maintenance operations
- Other duties as needed and assigned
- Experience in golf course maintenance landscaping or similar work
- A valid drivers license and the ability to safely operate equipment
- High School and/or trade school degree/certificate preferred
- An understanding that safety comes firstespecially around heavy machinery
- A positive attitude a team mindset and the ability to take direction
- The ability to lift carry and move heavy objects (up to 100 lbs. occasionally)
- The stamina to be on your feet in motion and engaged with the land for extended periods
- The desire to be a part of something great and potentially launch a career in agronomy and/or hospitality
Compensation will start at $18.50 an addition we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance a retirement plan and paid time off for full time employees.
