Ibis Landing located in Lehigh Acres FL is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Greenskeeper I! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Pay Range:
Starting at $16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment
- Rakes and maintains sand bunkers
- Operates small machinery to assist with edging trimming and mowing
- Prepares soil beds for sod seed and vegetative material
- Performs tasks related to course detail (weed and debris cleanup)
- Assists with golf course set-up procedures
- Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris
- Performs skilled duties based on experience (pruning plugging etc.)
- Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their respective work areas
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Performs other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have mechanical knowledge
- Must have a valid drivers license
Other Qualifications:
- Regular and reliable attendance
