Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our production team as Grinder/General Laborers. In this role you will assist with the breakdown and recycling of plastic scrap materials used in the manufacturing of polyethylene liners for ponds and other industrial applications. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a career in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Feed plastic scrap materials into grinding equipment for recycling and reuse.
- Assist production team members with general labor tasks as needed.
- Monitor equipment and notify supervisors of any issues or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Strong work ethic reliability and attention to safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift carry push and pull materials weighing up to 75 lbs. with assistance from a supervisor.
- Ability to stand walk bend and perform physical labor throughout a 12-hour shift.
Schedule
This position works a rotating 2-2-3 schedule (7:00 AM 7:00 PM) providing every other weekend off.
