As a Graphics Emulation Test Bench and Infrastructure Engineer in Apples GPU Design Verification and Validation organization youll ensure our complex GPU designs and software meet Apples quality standards through comprehensive hardware/software platform testing. Working with the complete software stack youll validate designs that enable seamless execution of demanding graphics workloads. Youll be responsible for supporting functional verification power and performance analysis implementation and Silicon validation by building emulation models running both synthetic and real-world test cases on those emulation models debugging and resolving issues reporting status and driving emulation and acceleration solutions from concept to Silicon. Your strong test bench knowledge and a solid foundation in verification methodology will be leveraged to create high-quality reusable test bench components and environments used to run complex tests.

Architecting emulation and simulation test benches used by functional verification performance analysis and power analysis teamsnPlanning top level improvements to test benches and mentoring/directing less experienced engineersnWorking with pre-silicon validation teams to develop and implement support plansnExploring and developing new technologies and methodologies to leverage simulation emulation and hardware acceleration for new applicationsnBuilding simulation and emulation models debugging build issuesnRunning specified tests on appropriate platforms and debugging issues by capturing waveforms and writing triggersnResponding to and working with vendor field service/AEs to address simulation and emulation HW/SW issuesnCreating automated verification flows for graphics verificationnReporting role offers significant growth opportunities as you advance within the team and take on increasing technical leadership responsibilities.

BS 10 years of relevant experiencenExperience with complex bus protocols such as PCIe and AXInExperience in profiling and optimizing test bench componentsnExperience with CPU and/or GPU architecture and micro architecturenExperience with DPI/transactorsnExperience in writing behavioral and synthesizable RTL (SystemVerilog/Verilog)nExperience with programming in one or more of the following languages: C/C Perl Ruby Python
