Job Summary
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Schedule: Part-Time (22.5 Hours/Week)
- Months 1-4: 100% Remote
- Months 5-6: Hybrid (1 day per week onsite at the Cambridge Street office in Boston MA beginning October/November 2026)
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support the development design and production of educational marketing and outreach materials. This role will collaborate closely with program teams to create engaging visual content for social marketing and nutrition education campaigns while ensuring brand consistency and accessibility across diverse audiences.
- Design and produce brochures booklets flyers banner ads billboards presentations and digital media assets.
- Create visually compelling materials using Adobe Creative Cloud primarily Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
- Develop culturally inclusive and audience-focused marketing materials including layouts for multilingual publications.
- Coordinate with external vendors printers and translators to manage production timelines review proofs and ensure quality deliverables.
- Support procurement and vendor management activities including obtaining bids and evaluating vendor performance.
- Maintain organized design files templates and digital assets.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all materials align with branding guidelines and program objectives.
- Create presentation materials conference collateral and other communication assets as needed.
- Provide design consultation and technical support to project managers and program staff.
- 1-2 years of professional Graphic Design experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including:
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- Experience creating print and digital marketing materials.
- Strong understanding of layout typography branding and visual communication principles.
- Experience managing print production and vendor coordination.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and file organization skills.
- Portfolio showcasing creative design work and projects for diverse audiences.
- Experience working with multilingual publications and culturally diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with marketing public health education or community outreach campaigns.
- Experience coordinating with printers translators and external creative vendors.
