Job Summary
GENERAL DESCRIPTIONResponsible for development of budgets for all contract and grant submissions. Responsible for reporting including tracking ofexpenditures and producing required back-ups. Responsible for ensuring the agency is in compliance with all federal and statecontracting requirements. Responsible for recording all accounting entries by program and reconciling internal budgets to contractsubmissions. Prepare annual internal budgets and schedules for financial audit on contracts. Communicate effectively with the ChiefFinancial Officer regarding status of work. Be able and flexible to work additional hours as needed to complete / EXPERIENCEBachelors degree in accounting required. CPA or MBA preferred. Minimum five years ofprogressively responsible experience in grants management and accounting. Not-for-profit experience is a TASKS1. Develop and produce all required weekly monthly quarterly annual and ad-hoc reports on a timely basis.2. Utilize advanced analytical skills to review reports and identify potential areas of opportunity and concern to senior andexecutive management.3. Contribute to the development of the budget process in regards to grants and contracts.4. Communicate with government agencies and auditors as needed and provide reports and documentation as requested.5. Maintain outstanding list of contracts and their deliverables.6. Create journal entries to record grants and contracts revenues and expenses.7.
