JOB SUMMARYHealthRIGHT 360 a nonprofit organization and a family of programs is committed to providing accessible and comprehensive healthcare services to vulnerable populations. We offer a wide range of services including mental health care residential and outpatient substance use treatment and primary health services. Additionally we provide transitional support for individuals re-entering the community after involvement in the criminal justice system. By integrating physical and behavioral health we empower individuals to overcome challenges by addressing social determinants of health fostering resilience and facilitating Philanthropy Department plays a vital role in advancing HealthRIGHT 360s mission by securing private funding and strengthening relationships with institutional funders and donors. The team works collaboratively across the organization to translate program outcomes into clear impactful funding opportunities align resources with strategic priorities and support the sustainability and growth of services for underserved Writer Philanthropy supports HealthRIGHT 360s mission by developing grant proposals reports and donor communications that clearly convey program impact and funding needs. This role collaborates across programs finance and leadership to produce accurate high-quality submissions ensure compliance with funder requirements and contribute to securing resources that advance integrated health housing and reentry services for underserved RESPONSIBILITIESGrant Writing & Proposal Development Ensure all components of grant proposals meet funder requirements and accurately represent the organizations qualifications expertise and program design. Write and edit compelling proposal narratives and supporting materials. Draft donor-facing materials including emails and pitch content in support of the Chief Philanthropy Research & Project Coordination Research funding opportunities and stay informed of funder priorities public announcements and relevant activities. Support assessment of project and program needs to determine alignment with external funding opportunities. Develop and track proposal work plans checklists and submission schedules. Coordinate with program finance and leadership teams to gather inputs and develop feasible well-aligned proposals and Communications Draft fundraising appeals impact reports donor stories and stewardship communications. Collaborate with the Philanthropy team and other departments to produce high-quality content. Manage timelines and deliverables for assigned communications perform other duties as Bachelors degree in English Communications Public Health Nonprofit Management or a related field required. Grant writing certification or coursework a 3 years of experience in grant writing fundraising or philanthropy. Experience drafting donor communications impact narratives or fundraising materials. Experience managing multiple writing projects and competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Experience working in a nonprofit or human services field preferred. Experience coordinating cross-functional inputs (program finance leadership) for proposals preferred.
