The role
The Graduate Nurse program is designed to be flexible to meet the learning needs of each graduate. We provide a personalised and supportive environment to enable you to consolidate and further develop your skills and knowledge that will enhance your future career opportunities.
Graduate nurses develop the assessment and critical thinking skills required to effectively nurse patients requiring palliative care and those with progressive neurological conditions. Those accepted into the program benefit from a structured program which includes extensive supernumerary time 4 study days plus time in a specialist area as well as a structured debrief and skills enhancement and review program. Graduate nurses are further supported by nurse educators and our preceptorship program.

- Our Graduate Nurse opportunities are like no other our Preceptors work with you (one on one) on the ward in addition to our Graduate Nurse Clinical Coordinator providing support on a daily basis

What you bring
- Have also applied via PMCV match qualify for registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Completed all training requirements between 1 January 2027 and 30 June 2027
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Patient and family approach to care delivery
- Current clinical knowledge and critical thinking ability
- Computer literacy
