Effective School Solutions (ESS) is a leading provider of school-based mental health services for K12 students serving over 2000 students across nine states. ESS delivers high-acuity clinical care within public schools helping students with significant emotional and behavioral needs achieve academic and mental health stability.

ESS is seeking a graduate-level Clinical Counseling Intern (Masters in Clinical Counseling) for afull academic year unpaid placement.

This internship offers hands-on experience providing school-based mental health services under the supervision of a licensed clinician. Interns will be embedded within one school site and will work as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Under supervision interns will:

• Provide individual counseling to students

• Co-facilitate or facilitate group therapy

• Participate in treatment planning and case consultation

• Engage in family communication and meetings

• Complete clinical documentation in ESSs electronic medical record

• Attend supervision team meetings and professional development sessions

• Currently enrolled in a Masters program in counseling.

• Eligible for internship placement per university guidelines

• Strong interest in working with children and adolescents

• Professional collaborative and eager to learn

• Commitment to completing the full academic year

• Direct clinical experience with high-acuity student populations

• Weekly supervision from licensed clinicians

• Training in ESSs structured school-based mental health model

• Experience working within a multidisciplinary school team
