Graduate Assistantship Center for Global Engagement

The Center forGlobal Engagement Graduate Assistant supports international students in gainingexperience with local culture and promotes international student recruitment. TheGraduate Assistant will participate in planning virtual recruitment events andinternational student orientation. Graduate students applying for this positionshould have experience or a strong interest in interacting with internationalstudents with various cultural backgrounds.

Illustrative examples of duties:

• participate in planning and organizing of in-person and virtual events
• provide administrative support and marketing materials for activities and events (i.e. skilled in PowerPoint video editing preparation of group lists etc.)
• plan interview and execute international student testimonials
• assist with various aspects of the international student recruitment process
