Job Summary
This Graduate Assistant position will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the Cheer and Dance programs as well as secondary responsibilities assigned by the Athletic Director. A strong faith base and commitment to the mission of Greenville University are essential. This is a 12-month position.
Graduate Assistant (GA) is students not employee of the university.
GA may not hold other on-campus employment.
GA must be accepted and enrolled in a Greenville University graduate program.
GA will maintain continuous enrollment in the degree program at all times
GA must maintain an accumulative G.P.A. of at least 3.0
GA will receive a stipendin addition to full tuition scholarship fora Greenville University graduate program.
GA must be able to live and work in the USA. No Student Visa available.
Responsibilities:
Coach Duties: administrative practice game and competition preparation
Recruiting: coordinate recruiting activities including emails phone calls and letters maintain the recruit database and manage social media
Academics: monitor academic progress of players
Spiritual Development: assist/lead Bible studies and mentor players
Game Day Management: responsibilities as assigned by the Athletic Department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and acceptance into a Graduate Program.
Cheer and Dance experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous coaching experience
Dance technique/training/choreography
