Position Summary
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a temporary Graduate Assistant to support the recruitment engagement and enrollment efforts of the Universitys undergraduate admissions operation. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in higher education administration student recruitment event planning communications and enrollment management while contributing to the success of one of the nations leading public universities. The Graduate Assistant will play an integral role in the planning coordination and execution of virtual and in-person admissions programming including admissions information sessions recruitment events yield programs and prospective student engagement initiatives. The position will support outreach efforts with campus partners provide guidance and information to prospective students and families regarding admission to Carolina and assist with the successful implementation of admissions events and enrollment initiatives. Responsibilities include facilitating virtual presentations and information sessions; building and managing event registrations within the Slate CRM system; coordinating event logistics scheduling communications and follow-up activities; responding to inquiries from prospective students families and school counselors via email and virtual platforms; and assisting with the assessment and enhancement of outreach strategies and enrollment efforts. The Graduate Assistant will also perform additional administrative and operational duties in support of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Work Schedule
Monday Friday between 8:30 AM 5:00 PM (Occasional weekend and evening hours) Roughly 20-25 hours per week Hybrid
