Mens BaseballThe Baseball Graduate Assistant will assist the baseball staff in providing ethical leadership in managing all aspects of competitive NCAA Division I Baseball program including but not limited to recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes and preparing student-athletes for success through practice planning strategy development and skill instruction. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.

Required Education and/or Experience

• Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution of higher education;
• Regular admission to a UA Little Rock graduate degree program or good standing with the UA Little Rock Graduate School for continuing graduate students;
• Ability to work the required hours (FT-50% - 20 hours per week/PT-25% - 10 hours per week) with regular attendance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Tracking their student-athletes academic progress;
• Maintaining appropriate records and paperwork;
• Ensuring compliance with all university Ohio Valley Conference and NCAA policies rules and regulations.
• Assist with practice planning.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Possess excellent written and communication skills;
• Ability to work with diverse populations of faculty staff students and community members;
• Maintain an appropriate degree ofconfidentiality;
• Exhibit problem-solving and critical thinking skills;
• Excellent motivational skills.
