Job Summary

Primary Responsibilities
Summary Function: Sul Ross State University an NCAA Division II institution located in Alpine Texas and a member of the Lonestar Conference is currently seeking qualified applicants for a graduate assistant position in the department of athletics for baseball. Scope: The successful applicant will work closely with the Head Baseball Coach and Assistant Baseball this role the successful applicant will be working closely with the student-athletes at SRSU . Duties Essential: Responsibilities will include but are not limited to assist in practice and game planning and preparation; field maintenance; assist in recruiting prospective student-athletes; support of student-athlete success on the field and in the classroom; hospitality; travel management; game operations; and other duties as assigned. Supervision Received: Head Baseball Coach Security Sensitive: This position is designated as a critical infrastructure role and is subject to Cyber Intelligence Review in accordance with Executive Order GA-48. Additionally this position is classified as Security-Sensitive and is thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code 51.215 which authorizes the employer to obtain and review criminal history record information. Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times. This position is security sensitive.
