Graduate Assistants are required to work an average of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (MondayFriday 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.). The work schedule will be coordinated with the students class schedule. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required to support orientation recruitment and student success events.

Position Introduction: The Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences Student Success and Advising Center seeks a motivated and student-focused Graduate Advising Assistant (GAA) to join its academic advising team. This assistantship provides graduate students with meaningful professional experience in academic advising student success initiatives enrollment management and higher education administration. Working alongside professional academic advisors the Graduate Advising Assistant supports undergraduate students as they navigate their academic journey and contributes to college-wide advising programs that promote student success retention and timely degree completion. This position is ideal for graduate students interested in pursuing careers in academic advising student affairs enrollment management higher education administration counseling or related fields.
