What Youll Do
- Direct grading crews and manage daily field production including crew setup workflow and output targets
- Lead earthwork operations including mass excavation embankment subgrade preparation rough grading and final finish grade
- Read and interpret plans drawings and survey data to execute work accurately in the field
- Coordinate equipment materials and manpower to maintain production and minimize downtime
- Enforce jobsite safety standards conduct orientations and address field conditions in real time
- Work closely with the Superintendent to align on scope sequencing schedule and production goals
What Were Looking For
- 5 years of grading earthwork or heavy civil construction experience
- Minimum 2 years in a Foreman or field leadership role
- Strong hands-on experience with excavation grading and site development operations
- Ability to read and execute plans specifications and survey layouts without supervision
- DOT experience required; Georgia DOT experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment used in dirt and grading operations
- Proven ability to manage crews and maintain production expectations
- Strong commitment to safety and consistent field execution

Work Environment
Field-based role on active DOT and heavy civil projects across Metro Atlanta and Southwest Georgia. Work is performed outdoors in active construction environments alongside heavy equipment and changing site conditions.
