The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for an energetic professional with outstanding analytical capabilities to join our Government Compliance team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and enthusiastic team member who is highly organized with excellent attention to detail. This role will be a contributor to the Government Compliance team and will assist in supporting DCAA audits preparing CACIs annual incurred cost proposal and responding to other various requests for information and interorganizational initiatives. The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in government contracting including exposure to incurred cost proposals and a foundational understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). This position requires the ability to work effectively as a team member within both the Government Compliance organization and the overall CACI organization.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain deep exposure to government compliance and be challenged in a results-driven team. The Government Compliance Analyst must exercise judgment and possess strong problem-solving skills in performing his/her duties while complying with established policies and procedures. This is a full-time regular position that has hybrid flexibility with the requirement to work in our Reston VA office a minimum of two days per week.


Responsibilities:
This position reports to Government Compliance management and will:

Be a part of the team that interfaces with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and other government agencies for reviews and audits

  • Respond to requests for information from DCAA DCMA or other government agencies in support of ongoing audits with the ability to research interpret and understand regulations to support the companys position
  • Assist with the preparation of CACIs annual incurred cost proposals CASB Disclosure Statements or other submissions (e.g. cost impacts) as required
  • Assist with supporting DFARS Business System audits or reviews as required
  • Maintain appropriate records and documentation to support government compliance activities including desktop procedures and workpapers
  • Assist with special projects as required



Qualifications:

Required:

  • BS in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Excel proficiency and data analytic skills are crucial
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain and defend a point of view
  • Self-starter able to take initiative within a fast paced agile environment
  • Ability to build effective relationships with government representatives and company personnel
  • Well organized and confident to work independently but a strong team player
  • Demonstrate confidence and credibility
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills



Desired:

  • Experience in government contracting and familiarity with FAR and CAS
  • Experience in preparing or auditing Incurred Cost Proposals
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint is highly desirable
