The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support data analytics visualization and process automation initiatives in a fast-paced client-facing environment.

This role blends strong business analysis and project management capabilities with hands-on experience in dashboarding and low-code automation tools. The ideal candidate will translate complex business needs into actionable solutions using visualization platforms and Microsoft Power Platform technologies.

Your key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analyze and document business and functional requirements.
• Design develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI Tableau and/or Qlik.
• Build and support business process automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate.
• Develop and maintain low-code applications using Microsoft Power Apps to enhance operational workflows.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories for development teams.
• Support end-to-end delivery of analytics and automation solutions from requirements through deployment.
• Facilitate project planning tracking and status reporting to ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Work cross-functionally with technical teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and system functionality.
• Perform testing validation and user acceptance support for dashboards and applications.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting automation and business processes.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g. Business Information Systems Data Analytics)
• 5 years of experience in business analysis data analytics or related roles
• Demonstrated experience with data visualization and reporting tools
• Experience delivering solutions using Microsoft Power Platform
• Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ideally youll also have

• Experience with Tableau Qlik ArcGIS Databricks AWS Azure or Foundry.
• Knowledge of MLOps AI governance and model validation practices.
• Federal government or law enforcement analytics experience.
• Graduate degree in a quantitative field.

Due to the nature of our work in the Government and Public Sector work may be required to be completed at client EY and/or contractor sites. Our goal is to assign professionals to projects within a commutable distance of their work location certain circumstances travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs. Candidates should be willing to travel 20 30% or more.

• We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where youll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $106200 to $194600. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $127400 to $221100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge skills and addition our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage pension and 401(k) plans and a wide range of paid time off options.
• Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement project or year.
