Golf Coach Varsity Boys

POSITION TITLE: Golf Coach - Varsity Boys

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of high school diploma

Golf coaching experience preferred at the high school level

Working knowledge of golf rules as distributed by MHSAA and coachs guidebook

Demonstrate strong leadership communication/interpersonal skills with students staff and parents

Criminal background check including fingerprinting required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete required MHSAA certification and coursework

Travel with athletes to matches when necessary

Leadership of young people in the area of athletics

Assist with team fundraising activities

Make appearances at community and school events such as parades games assemblies volunteer opportunities etc.

Attend mandatory MHSAA rules meeting once a year

Seek professional development opportunities specific to the coaching of golf techniques and playing strategies.

Attend preseason and post-season meetings offered by the Athletic Department.

Must be CPR/AED certified.

SALARY: Per Master Agreement
