Position Summary:Responsiblefor delivering excellent customer service while driving sales andmaintainingoperational excellence in the golf pro shop.
KeyResponsibilities:
Greet all customers in a friendly and professional manner
Process sales transactions accurately includingprocessing payments and completing settlement documentation
Maintainhigh standardsfor customer service sales performance and sales floor presentation
Utilize effective selling techniques to maximize sales and enhance the guest experience
Assistwith merchandising execution tooptimizeproduct presentation sales and customer satisfaction
Support the development and upkeep of floor standards visual merchandising customer service practices and sales techniques
Keep the selling area clean organized and fully stocked
Recommend items and quantities for product reorders based on sales trends and inventory levels
Assistwith inventory management and receiving new merchandise
Assistwith coordinating and promotingspecial events tournaments and member programs
Maintain knowledge of current promotions pricing and golf industry trends
Handle customer inquiries concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
Support basic golf course maintenance and cleaning as needed
Otherduties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previousretail sales or customer service experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-focused mindset
Detail-oriented organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of merchandising principles or willingness to learn
Ability to work collaboratively andmaintainpositive relationships with colleagues and team members
Preferred:
Bilingual
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to lift movepushand pull equipment or boxes up to 40lbs.
Ability tooperatea golf cart safely across varied terrain and weather conditions
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat humidity rain and sun exposure
Ability to bend stoop kneel and reach as needed to perform job duties
Ability to work flexible hours to include nights weekends and holidays as needed
