Job Summary
The GMA Pallet Repair Technician is responsible for inspecting repairing and rebuilding pallets with exceptional consistency and attention to detail ensuring all pallets meet the companys quality standards. This role performs a variety of assembly-line repair tasks from identifying and correcting damage replacing or reinforcing boards to ensuring all completed pallets are clean safe and ready for use. This position plays a key role in supporting daily production goals and maintaining smooth operations within the facility.

- This position starts with a base pay of $19.00 per hour.
- You can also earn additional incentive pay each week based on the number of pallets repaired per hour. The more you produce the more you earn up to $44.49 per hour depending on your weekly production band.

As a GMA Pallet Repair Technician your responsibilities will include:
Inspect pallets for damage wear and structural issues; determine the appropriate level of repair
Perform precise repairs to ensure consistent high-quality results
Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to remove replace or reinforce pallet boards and components
Meet or exceed daily production goals
Identify and understand different pallet types and grades
Conduct final evaluations of completed pallets to ensure they meet PLA quality standards
Operate and maintain hand tools power tools and repair equipment
Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation
Adjust or calibrate equipment settings as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work station while following all safety protocols
Escalate technical or process issues to leadership in a timely manner
Collaborate effectively with facility staff to support smooth operations
Perform other duties as assigned
Experience inpallet repair carpentry woodworking or construction preferred
Knowledge of operating various saws includingproper use safety and basic maintenance preferred
Ability to work safely withhigh-powered saws and tools in a fast-paced assembly-line environment
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects or inconsistencies in materials
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Any combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
Frequent lifting pushing and pulling of 75 pounds or more
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a high-energy production environment
- While performing the duties of this job the employee will primarily work in a warehouse environment. This may include exposure to dust fluctuating temperatures (hot and cold) and moderate to high noise levels. Steel-toed boots and other personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.
