Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for an experienced Global Transportation Finance Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading international law firm in Chicago.

This is an excellent opportunity for a transactional attorney interested in sophisticated aviation aircraft equipment and transportation finance transactions involving major financial institutions lessors investors manufacturers operators and other participants in the global transportation industry.

26 years of finance transportation finance aviation finance equipment finance or related transactional experience

Experience with secured lending leasing structured finance or asset-based financing transactions

Experience involving aircraft aviation assets transportation assets or other sophisticated equipment financings is highly desirable

Experience representing lenders lessors borrowers operators investors manufacturers or financial institutions

Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements lease agreements security agreements purchase agreements guarantees and other financing documents

Experience coordinating complex transactions from initial diligence and documentation through closing

Experience with cross-border or international transactions is a plus

Strong drafting negotiation analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple sophisticated transactions in a fast-paced environment

Excellent client service and communication skills

Strong academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Sophisticated global transportation and aviation finance transactions

Exposure to aircraft finance leasing secured lending and structured transactions
